Well, Yes. I guess what I struggle with is the “do what you love and followers will find you” and “do what your followers love and follow them” duality. There seems to be as much support for one strategy as the other. I tend towards the “do what your followers love…” but I’m uncomfortable with the idea of chasing other peoples dollars. I would prefer being more self directed and going where my my heart and brain lead, but I can’t imagine many people poring over articles about GDP tends and labor market participation fluctuations.

However, I wrote my first solicited article for Data Driven Investor about those very topics, so maybe I’m finding my path.
